PLEASE NOTE: TO SEE ALL PHOTOS. PLEASE VIEW FULL DESCRIPTION, AS WE TYPICALLY POST UP TO 24 PHOTOS. We are pleased to offer this very rare set of 3 monumental Chinese embroideries. The largest (approximately 6 1/2 feet+ X 12 feet) depicts two writhing dragons with a temple in the center and a flaming pearl over waves and fish. Much of the embroidery is in gold wrapped threads. The other 2 companion embroideries (approximately 31 3/4″ X 154″) Chinese silk embroidered banners. Each has seven embroidered dragons horizontally across and are also embroidered with waves and auspicious Chinese symbols. The two companion pieces are in great condition, there is some staining and fading in some small areas.. I believe this set is from the Republic Period, but may be earlier. Possibly from or for a Buddhist temple. We guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell. All items are clearly described and photographed. Photographs are part of the complete description.
