OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE 19th c QI’ING CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK ROBE FINE EMBROIDERY
OUTSTANDINGLY BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 19th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK! On the midnight blue color silk material of the robe features various blooming flowers, fruits, Phoenix birds, and other Buddhist auspicious symbols. The robe intricately embroidered in bright multi- colored silk threads using satin stitches, forbidden stitches (Peking knot); couched with golden metallic threads. The robe measures 41 (105 cm) long. Lined with a blue damask silk lining. Condition: very good antique conditions with no visible damages or imperfections. No tearing on the shoulders area or any wear to the silk material which is very rare for the robes of that period. Couple of pulled golden metallic threads here and there (see pictures), but thats about all imperfections. Please, use the pictures as a part of a condition report!
