ANTIQUE 19th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK PANEL/ SLEEVE BANDS SEWN TOGETHER! On a light cream silk material features Chinese court ladies in a beautiful garden with bunch of blooming flowers and plants. One of the ladies looks like holding a fishing rod in her hands and fishing. Worked in multi- colored silk threads using satin stitches (for the ladies figures) and forbidden or Peking knot stitches (the rest of the embroidery). Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures! The beautiful embroidered panel together with the woven silk border measures 23″ (58.5 cm) long x 11″ (27.9 cm) wide. Condition: good antique condition with no damages or imperfections aside some general signs of time and wear. The piece is antique not new. No holes, damages to the silk material or losses to the threads of the embroidery. The embroidery makes a beautiful display and will be a valuable addition to any collection!
