ANTIQUE 19 th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK PANEL/ SLEEVE BANDS SEWN TOGETHER #2! On a light cream damask silk material features beautiful blooming lose flowers, plants, and flying butterflies. Worked in multi- colored silk threads using satin stitched and forbidden stitches (Peking knot- for the 2 big roses in the center); the central big red roses couched with golden metallic threads using couching technique. Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures! The beautiful embroidered panel itself measures 19″ (48.3 cm) long x 7.5″ (19 cm) wide. Condition: good antique condition with no damages or imperfections aside perhaps very light general staining and signs of time and wear.
