ANTIQUE LATE 19TH /EARLY 20th c QILING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK SKIRT! On the green damask silk material, woven with flaming wheels and endless knots, embroidered and appliqued little Foo dogs playing stylized balls. The 2 main panels embroidered with tiny people and flowers on the golden metallic thread background. Embroidered in multi- colored silk threads using satin stitches. Couched with golden metallic threads. The skirt measures 35 (88 cm) long. Lined with blue silk lining, only 2 main panels. Condition: fair antique condition with some tearing, mostly to the black ribbon borders, light fading, staining, and discoloration to the silk material. No other visible damages or imperfections.
