ANTIQUE LATE 19TH/ EARLY 20TH c CHINESE DAMSK SILK EMBROIDERED REFORMED ROBE/ JACKET! Beautiful embroidered jacket reformed from an antique late 19th/ early 20th century Qi’ing dynasty Chinese embroidered informal women’s robe. On a light cream damask silk material, woven with Buddhist auspicious symbols, finely embroidered in bright multi- colored threads using satin stitches. The beautiful embroidery features medallions formed out of blooming flowers with vases filled with auspicious fruits in the center of medallions, loose flowers, and flying butterflies. The jacket measurements are equivalent to size S: Chest laying flat from armpit to armpit 16″ (40.7 cm), shoulders 15 (38 cm), length 26.5″ (67.3 cm), sleeve 11″ (28 cm), waist 26″ (66 cm).
